The Physiotherapy clinic is following all Covid 19 guidelines for safe practice.
Telehealth has been used for many years but 2020 saw the necessity to embrace virtual methods of delivering healthcare more than ever before.
As a hands-on, physical therapist, I am a firm believer in the healing and restorative powers of human touch and interaction (albeit through gloves, masks and visors these days!), however for many injuries and conditions, telehealth has been proven to be a very effective method of delivering healthcare. For some, this is not the type of "physio" you prefer, but receiving treatment from the comfort, safety and convenience of your own home is in many ways ideal.
"A new study of 27,000 virtual physiotherapy patients has concluded that digital physiotherapy must become a significant part of the treatment mix post corona-virus, after results showed that it is just as effective as, and in some cases more effective than, in-person treatment." (July 2020).

"A big thank you to Kate from Acuphysio who was able to help me with a back problem that I didn't know how to deal with effectively. Kate was able to help diagnose, offer advice and provide exercises which has helped me immensely - all via video consultation. I received a friendly, professional and supportive service and would highly recommend Acuphysio."
